We are a young and energetic team, striving for better results in the field of ARPES. We have world-class equipment, a good working and learning environment, and the guidance of Professor Nan Xu, an expert in ARPES. Our students have the opportunity to experiment with world-class synchrotron radiation source and to learn and interact with the world's top scholars. I believe we can do better in the future.
Li Yiwei is a distinguished associate researcher at Wuhan University. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Oxford, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the quantum materials platform of the Department of Physics of the University of Oxford and ShanghaiTech University. He is engaged in experimental research in condensed matter physics, mainly using angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy to study the band structure of new topological quantum materials, strongly correlated electronic systems and low-dimensional systems. Representative academic achievements as the main completer include: the observation of the second type of Dirac semimetallic state in PtSe2 in 2017, the observation of the distribution of charge density wave gap in 2H-TaSe2 in momentum space in 2018, the discovery of the antiferromagnetic topological insulator MnBi2Te4 in 2019, the observation of the electronic structure of topological superconductor 2M-WS2 in 2021 and the direct observation of the flat band of the three-layer graphene in the momentum space in 2022. He has published more than 20 academic papers, including 8 papers as the first author (co-first author), including Physical Review journals, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, etc., with a total of more than 1,000 citations.
