Introduction

Yiwei Li is a distinguished associate researcher at Wuhan University. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, and has been engaged in postdoctoral research in the quantum materials platform of the Department of Physics of the University of Oxford and the ShanghaiTech University. He is engaged in experimental research in condensed matter physics, mainly using angular resolution photoelectron spectroscopy to study the band structure of new topological quantum materials, strongly correlated electronic systems and low-dimensional systems. Representative academic achievements as a principal investigator include:

In 2017, the second type of Dirac semimetallic state in PtSe2 was observed, the distribution of the charge density wave energy gap in the momentum space in 2H-TaSe2 was observed in 2018, the antiferromagnetic topology insulator MnBi2Te4 was discovered in 2019, the electronic structure of the topological superconductor 2M-WS2 was observed in 2021, and the flat band of the magic angle three-layer graphene was directly observed in the momentum space in 2022. He has published more than 20 academic papers, including the first author (co-first author) and 8 papers, including Physical Review journals, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, etc., with a total of more than 1,000 citations.
